Comment: Donor remark: Donors mother has planted this rhubarb most probably in 1949-1950.It must have been a variety, she was a professional for horticulture and cultivated rhubarbs for sale in Helsinki. She was a member of the parliament 1960's and brought stems with her by a small car to Helsinki tukkutori on her way to work to Parliament. One restaurant hoped to get this good rhubarb from Paarskylä Manor. All manor workers has got this rhubarb from the manor. This accession is compared to other rhubarb growing oh the same garden a bit more acidic and it has green, lower and thinner stems. Blades are narrower and there are fewer veins. This rhubarb grows stronger than the red rhubarb on the same spot.
