Comment: Collector remark: Hop is growing strongly in shady place; big leaves.First time discovered and identified by DNA diversity analyse:Finnish Senior Researcher Kristiina Antonius, MTT Finland; Project: HOPDIVE (2011-2012).

Comment: Donor remark: This hop is thought to be an old hop for brewering at the Wiurila manor. It is known that in 1787 there have been brewered, the (proper) Manor brewery was established in the end of 1850's and this hop accession is supposed to be from those days. There has also been a distillery in 1840 ("viinaprännu"). Donors mother (born in 1930)tells that hop has used to mead ("sima") and she is still using hop for that. The initial reason for growing hop has been brewering.
