Cultivar description: Sortsbeskrivelse: Bulgars Kæmpe er en gammelkendt bulgarsk sort, hvoraf frø til forsøgene er leveret af J.E Ohlsens Enke, Tåstrup. Det er formentlig den samme sort, som deltog i forsøg m. porresorter 1925-28 under navnet Bulgarsk Langskaftet. Det er en særdeles langskaftet, tidlig efterårsporre. Som det vil fremgå af karaktererne, er den uegnet til friskvaremarkedet, men velegnet til industribrug (Statens Forsøgsvirksomhed i Plantekultur 1051. Meddelelse 1972).
