Cultivar description: Superior in seed yield; high yield in first cut; Cultivar extended description: Avkastning: Mycket hög avkastning. Med avseende på fröproduktionsförmågan är Kalevi en överlägsen sort i våra förhållanden.Kvalitet: God. Kalevi producerar mycket lättsmält och proteinrikt vallfoder.Odlingsrekommendation: Rekommenderas för odlingszonerna I, II, III, IVRekommenderas för zonerna I, II, III och IV till mångåriga ensilage-, betes- och hövallar.Vinterhärdighet: Härdig. Kalevis vinterhärdighet är av god klass ända till zon IV. (Ref Boreal 2011); Cultivar remarks: Utvecklad av 30 elitexemplar som samlats in på gamla vallar på Sydvästra Finlands, Södra Savolax och Tavastlands forskningsstationer.
