Note: Collection: NGB_Inbred Rye Collection. Description: The Inbred-Rye collection consists of 108 inbreeding lines derived from the rye variety "Stål". The development of this material was started in 1927 by professor Herman Nilsson-Ehle at the Swedish Seed Association (Sveriges Utsädesförening). The project was later continued by the professors Arne Müntzing and Arne Lundqvist at The Institute for Genetics, Lund University. Information about the morphology and genetics of the lines is stored in a database.; Remarks: The Cereal Working Group decided to change status of the collection in 2017.
