Note: Collection: NGB_KVL resistance collection. Description: Collection of material resistant to cereals diseases. The collection is made up of different parts: The main part is the original resistance sources for a the following diseases; Erysiphe graminis (EG), Rhyncosporium secalis (RS), Dreshlera teres (DT), Septoria nodurum (SN), Dreshlera graminea (PG), Ustilago nuda (UN), Puccinia striiformis (PS), Puccinia recondita (PR), Puccinia hordei (PH), Puccinia coronata (PC), Puccunia graminis, Barley yellow mosaic virus (BY) or Heterodera avena nematod(HA, HB, HH). The second part is made up of a set of 3 commerial cultivars with resistance and the third part of the collection is made up of differential varieties. The collection was donated to NGB from KVL, Denmark in the late 1980s.
