Narrative
Accession remark: Donatorn har bott i det lilla småländska torpet hela sitt liv. Systern minns borstnejlikorna från när hon var liten, på 1940-talet, troligen är de ännu äldre. Grannarna kring torpet minns dem också sedan lång tid tillbaka. Donatorn minns att det brukade plockas buketter till att sätta både på kyrkogården och i hemmet, och att blommor gavs till grannar och vänner. Donatorn låter dem växa fritt i gräsmattan mellan några bärbuskar. Det brukar finnas flera färgvarianter, men året som frö togs av donatorn fanns bara den rosa.
The donor has lived in the small cottage in Småland. His sister remembers the Sweet Williams from her early childhood, in the 1940s. Also the neighbours remembers the plants from a long time back. The donor remembers that they used to place cut flowers both on the church yard and in their home, and also gave flowers to neighbours and friends. There have been severeal colour types but the year the donor harvested seeds for NordGen there were only the pink type.
