Narrative
Enligt donatorna en ärtsort värd att bevara, den är mycket god, fin att frysa in och ger skörd två gånger per sommar om det inte är för torrt. Den behöver ordentligt stöd då den blir nästan 2 meter. Donatorn berättar hur han brukar sätta hässjestolpar med ca 3 meters avstånd och spänna ståltråd mellan allt eftersom ärtorna växter upp. Det fungerar bra och det är lätt att lossa revorna efter skörden. Sorten har funnits i hans hem sedan 1920. Hans morfar var ladugårdsskötare på en gård nära Mariestad och en statarfru där odlade den och sålde till utsäde på torget. Donatorns mormor fick dock inte köpa av henne eftersom hon var rädd för konkurrens. Det var dock ingen fara för mormodern ville bara ha den i sitt hushåll så hon sände en bekant att köpa dem på torget. Donatorns mor var noga med att ta vara på ärtor till utsäde och donatorns familj har fortsatt detta arbete. Alla som provat sorten är mycket nöjda enligt donatorn.
