Cultivar subtype: Asieagurk; Cultivar description: Er en ensartet, ret glat, noget lys, tidligt udviklet asie, som er næsten fri for hals. Den er robust og har givet et særdeles stort udbytte af ret god kvalitet. Kilde: 48. Beretning f. Fællesudv. f. Prøvedyrkning af Køkkenurter. ; Cultivar facts: Asier syltes ved, at asieagurken skrælles og flækkes på langs. Kernerne fjernes, og hulrummet fyldes med salt. Når saltet har trukket væden ud af agurken, skæres den i stykker, lægges på glas og overhældes med en blanding af vand og eddike tilsat krydderier. Asier anvendes som tilbehør til mange varme retter.
