Narrative
Cultivar description: Detta är en korsning Trondhjemsk x Drottning. Sorten betecknas av marknadsföringen som "ett synnerligen vackert framsteg. Rotformen beskrevs som klotrund till svagt oval, idealiskt slät, rotfärg vacker". Rotens övre del var grön med svag rödaktigt "anslag". Köttfärgen kraftigt gul. Blasten medelhög och rothalsen synnerligen liten. Sorten angavs i frågan om avkastning som överlägsen samtliga medverkande sorter, överträffade Bangholm med 7,3% i rotmassa och 9,6% i torrämnesavkastning, Torrämneshalten är hög. Sorten är snabbvuxen och tidigare än både Bangholm och Svensk slät. Smaken är mild och rötterna lätta att skörda. Källa: Harald Esbo, SLU.
