Comment: Donor remark: This is an early growing rhubarb. Compared to other rhubarb accession growing in the same garden, the stems are shorter. Peel and flesh of the stems are both red, flavour is not so acidic, you can eat it as raw. This rhubarb has been brought from Paattinen to the garden of donors paternal grandmother in 1920's-1930's at Rantanen. From Rantanen it has moved to donors home, Ellis, in 1946. From Ellis donor has brught the plant to his home garden at Vampula in 1970's.
