Comment: Donor remark: Early accession: gives yield during early summer, withers away by the end of July; height 30-40 cm; ivory colored flowers; small leaves, if rains leaves are bigger; stems are thin and red-green coloured, flesh is partly red. Accession is atleast from the 1950's, probably even older. Plant has been growing in a garden at Kärpäsenmäki,Lahti, where the donors parents have been moved. They removed the plant to their summer cottage, Hauho in the beginning of 1960's. Rhubarb has been used as fresh and frozen for pudding (kiisseli)and pastries with apple and strawberry.
