Comment: Donor remark: Accession is over 100 years old; The lowest part of the stem ( 5 cm) is red; the colour of the flowers is light yellowy;Donors mother has told that this rhubarb has brought to collecting place from the garden of Anni Swan and Otto Manninen: Kangasniemi, Puulavesi, Rämiäisten saari,Kotavuori-huvila. Donors relative worked as a housemaid there and bring the rhubarb about in 1930. First it was planted near a stone but it was moved near the Southside gavel of the cowhouse built in 1953. The rhubarb has been growing on the same spot ever since. There are no other rhubarb in the garden. Anni Swan ordered a landscaping scheme for Kotavuori garden and also ordered some plants there.
