Narrative
Accession remark: Old variety from Jokkmokk, North Sweden. The variety has been grown for several years in Jokkmokk's Fjällträdgård (Alpine Garden) a part of Swedish Mountain and Sami Museum. Granuddspotatis is an old almond-type potato variety that was found in the 1990s in Piertinjaure, west of Jokkmokk. That potato originally come from Granudden along Kvikkjokkvägen. DNA studies confirmed that the variety is unique. Sorten har under flera år odlats i Jokkmokks Fjällträdgård (Svenskt Fjäll- och Samemuseum). Granuddspotatis är en gammal potatissort av mandeltyp som man under 1990-talet hittade i Piertinjaure, väster om Jokkmokk. Den potatisen hade ursprungligen kommit från Granudden utmed Kvikkjokkvägen. DNA studies bekräftade att sorten är unik.
