Comment: Donor remark: Gunnar och Ines odlar Bjurslöken, som familjen kallar den. Den kommer ursprungligen från Ines föräldrar Axel och Amanda som odlade den på samma plats där den odlas idag. Ines är 2007 86 år gammal men odlar löken för att ”Det har varit roligt att ha den gamla sorten kvar”Ines berättar att potatislökens blast vissnar ner tididgare än den vanliag kepalökens blast. Ines lägger dem i en korg för att torka medans de gamla hängde dem på en vägg. Ines menar att potatislöken är mildare i smaken än vanlig gul lök."

Narrative
Accession remark: Potato onion. Cultivar description: Bjurslöken kommer ursprungligen från ena donatorns föräldrar, som odlade den på Bjursås. Potatislökens blast vissnar ner tidigare en den vanliga kepalökens blast. De gamla torkade löken genom att hänga dem på en vägg. Bulbs do not exist anymore at NordGen, material transferred to Swedish National genebank (Erik de Vahl) 2017 as NordGen should no longer keep vegetatively propagated material. See Tra 9499. /UlNil. Changed mandate of remaining seeds to Active Core since number of seeds enough for multiplication.
