Accession remark: Donatorn fick borstnejlikorna i slutet på 1990-talet från en gammal vänlig dam från en gård strax utanför Klövsjö. Donatorn är nästan säker på att damen inte köpt frön, eftersom familjen var självhushållande både ute och inne. Donatorn odlar idag borstnejlikorna i sin trädgård. Det är ingen sommar om man inte får ta in en bukett med borstnejlikor och ringblommor, skriver donatorn.
The donor received flowers in the late 1990s from an old kind lady from a farm outside the village Klövsjö. The donor is almost sure that the lady did not buy seeds, as the family had a self-sustaining lifestyle. The donor is today cultivating the flowers. There is no summer without taking in a bouquet of Sweet Williams and Pot Marigold, writes the donor.
