Comment: Donor remark: Denna sockerärta fick Ragnhild Lorefors av sin då 90-åriga vän Bertil Björk i Jämtön (mellan Luleå och Kalix). Hon berättar att den har varit i familjen Björks ägo sedan 1847. Bertil var 2008 den 5:e generationen som odlade den. Det finns ett brev som önskar lycka till med den goda ärten daterat 1847, men det framgår inte varifrån den ursprungligen kommer tyvärr. Bertil har vårdat utsädet och har aldrig sått äldre än 3-årigt utsäde. Sven Bertil Björk, Bertils son, tillägger att hans far alltid var väldigt noga med dessa ärtor och att det var en viss ritual när de skulle sås varje år. Ingen annan än han själv tilläts göra detta i familjen.

Accession remark: Accessionen lämnades till NordGen av Agneta Börjesson hösten 2019. Dessförinnan fick föreningen SESAM den på en trädgårdsmässa 2008. Påminner en del om ärtorna Svartbjörsbyn och Arvidsjaur. Små fina baljor och tidig i skörd.
