Habitat: Open gravel and sand in a dry, rocky area.
Number of plants sampled: 200
Associated species: Characteristic: Festuca rubra, Salix spp.
Comment: In the area between Dettifossvegur and Jökulsá river, approximately 3.5 km north of the intersect with Road 1 (the ring road). It grows very scattered in open gravel and sand in a dry rocky area, accompanied with scattered Festuca rubra, Festuca vivipara, Salix spp.
