Habitat: Grows very scattered in moist areas, altitude 4-500 masl. Grows both in open soil and gravel in eroded slopes facing south, and in Festuca spp. meadows and alongside creeks.
Number of plants sampled: 100
Comment: Seeds collected from more than 100 individuals. Collected by the road Axarvegur (road 939) in the slope north of Hænubrekkufoss waterfall.
